Trunk

I bought Trunk from Lance Mackey in the spring of 2010, and he is a solid team dog that ran in Lance’s 2010 Yukon Quest team. Trunk was featured in Lance’s “super dogs” in Mushing Magazine. He is an extremely friendly dog with lots of power in the harness. He ran and finished the 2011 and 2012 Yukon Quest races with me and our bond has grown because of it. He also trained and ran the Yukon Quest with my handler in 2014 and did an awesome job being a great role model for a young team. Trunk has since retired from racing, but he still has a lot of drive and is a great “puppy trainer”! Summer 2017 he became a dad to 5 pups with Celia (see Draco, Crux, Ursa, Eris and Vega).  It is great to have a bunch of young Trunks around at the homestead, and we’re very excited to see them carry on the traits that made Trunk the great race dog he was!
