Wild and Free Dogs
Needless to say, we are very proud of our dogs. All but a few of the retired dogs and Jeep are bred and raised here at Wild and Free. When I first got into dog mushing I wanted find a way to have dogs that were good for traveling/adventures like the Arctic Expeditions I’ve done almost yearly, but also good dogs for long distance races. For me, Silver became the answer – over 70% of the dogs in our kennel are related to him. Silver and some other key dogs have shaped our dogs into what we need and want them to be – strong, focused, happy and hard working long distance sled dogs that are also up for adventures with some serious trail breaking and harsh conditions.
