Jade, that girl who got everyone’s attention as a small puppy because of her beautiful face markings. The two-leggeds of the kennel quickly noticed that Jade had something more than just beautiful looks, she had an adventurous, go-getter attitude and she never stopped exploring and testing her (and our) limits.. As the months passed she was the first puppy to show us that she was ready to be a big girl. With her own house surrounded by the adult females she was obviously pleased not to be a puppy anymore. At any given opportunity, Jade will do laps/run straight through the dog yard – flirting and playing with the grown ups. She’s showing a lot of respect for the other dogs, but never fear. This girl is fierce!
Being the only puppy at the kennel right now, after her siblings and older pups went to puppy training camp with our friends (the Boulding family) on the Tanana, Jade is getting quite a bit of attention. She’s roaming the homestead, playing with the older dogs (Jade and Celia are best friends forever) and even enjoying some inside time with us humans too. As soon as our trails are ready for sleds she’ll get to start running with the big dogs and we know she’s more than ready as she gets VERY fired up when we’re harnessing and hooking her grown up buddies up for runs!
