Wooderson

Named after characters in the movie Dazed and Confused, Wooderson and his brothers and sisters are proving to have just as much personality as their namesake. Born in the Arctic, they spent the first couple weeks of their life living in a tent, which we believe set them up for success.  Woody has a very unique personality and he is a very loving dog.  In his first couple years in harness, Wooderson showed he has the focus and drive it takes to be a champion sled dog.  Woody finished all races in 2019 and continued to excel in 2020 and 2021, turning into one of the main leaders of the team in 2020 YQ and Iditarod and being an integral part of the 3rd place finish in the 2021 Iditarod! He was also one of the Golden Harness winners in 2020 YQ!  In 2022 Woody was a part of the team for every race this year including our Iditarod Championship! In 2023 he was a part of the CB300, YQ550 and the Iditarod! Woody spent winter of 2024/2025 at the Arctic Hive doing tours and training youngsters- he had a blast!
