At the end of March Brent had the opportunity to travel to Finland to join the fine people of Extreme Huskies for the event Gold Rush Run. Brent was one of the speakers at the Sled dog Seminar held before the race. The subjects for his talks were “Taking care of sled dogs during races” and “Training and racing long distances”. Brent reported having a great time during the race Gold Rush Run, volunteering at start/finish and checkpoints, as well as cheering for the teams and getting to know the fantastic mushers who were showing up for the event in Tankavaara, Finland.
