Krypton

Krypton is part of the “Elements” litter from my main man Silver and a dog named Chicken, who was from Lance Mackey. When I was first getting my Kennel started, I bought a few dogs from Lance Mackey and in the deal, he threw in Chicken.  She was a tiny, nine-month old dog that he told me to breed with my big leader Silver. I did just that and have done it four times now and each time getting amazing dogs. All of the dogs out of the Silver and Chicken litter are named after Elements on the periodic table. Krypton is part of the second generation of “Elements” and like his brothers before him, has turned into an amazing dog. A natural leader, Krypton is a big furry dog that loves his job and will not let anything stand in his way. He runs with tons of confidence and because of that, he spent a good portion of our winning 2015 Yukon Quest run in lead.  In 2016, and 2017 he had very strong performances in the K300 and Yukon Quest, and he was a part of the team at K300 in 2018 as well. In 2019 Kyrpton played a big role in both Copper Basin 300 and Yukon Quest, being one of the veterans showing the younger members of the team the way. Krypton is now a mentor and will continue playing a huge role in training the young pups and yearlings!
