June

June – daughter of Josephine and Jackson. While June is the smallest puppy, she has a fierce personality. She always instigates play-wrestling matches with her brothers. She keeps a consistent pace while on puppy runs, which is a very promising sign for a sled dog! June and her litter mates trained last winter with our puppy training friends, The Bouldings, and came back as very well-trained sled dogs.  I have enjoyed spending the summer free hiking and bonding with June and her siblings and am super excited to announce that they will be going back to The Bouldings in the early winter to start their first year of race training and will be running the Junior Iditarod with Tori in Feb!  This will be a huge accomplishment for both Tori and the dogs, and will no doubt set them up to be successful race dogs in the future.  We could not be more excited, and we look forward to supporting the dogs and Tori as much as we can with their exciting season ahead!
