Granite

Granite – son of Duck and Sluice. Granite is loyal, always sticking by whoever takes him hiking in the woods. He’s known for picking up dropped gloves and beanies and bringing them back to you! What a guy.  Granite and his litter mates trained the 2020/2021 winter with our handlers and showed lots of promise. Summer of 2021 I enjoyed spending it free hiking and bonding with Granite and his siblings, in the early winter they went back to The Bouldings to start their first year of race training. Granite ran the Willow 100 and Junior Iditarod!  This was a huge accomplishment for both Tori and the dogs, and no doubt has set them up to be successful race dogs in the future. Last season Granite was a part of the Apline Creek, Knik 200 and the K300 teams! We couldn’t be more excited to have him in the running for the races at Wild and Free this season!
