Caveman

Caveman and his brother Speedy were bred and spent the first five months of their life with our friends, the Parkers, who have many dogs from Wild and Free. They have the most sprint blood of any of the dogs in the Kennel and you can immediately tell by the slender build and short hair. But, with the genetic mix that they come from, I had to give them a shot. Their dad is Carmacks, son of Silver and a J. Redington dog, and their mother has Butcher/Monson/L. Charley genetics. So, a little bit of everything as far as genetics goes. These two are fast and built for speed. They will start training with the Yearlings this year and we will see how far they go. During this year’s annual Arctic trip, Caveman and his brother proved they had what it took to run long miles and survive in harsh conditions. More training this season will prove whether they have what it takes to go the distance.
