Rubidium (Rubi)

Rubi is part of the “Elements” litter which come from my main man Silver and a dog named Chicken, who I got from Lance Mackey. When I was first getting my Kennel started, I bought a few dogs from Lance Mackey and in the deal he threw in Chicken. She was a tiny, nine-month old dog that he told me to breed with my big leader Silver. I did just that and have done it four times now and each time getting amazing dogs. All of the dogs out of the Silver and Chicken litter are named after Elements on the periodic table. Rubi is one of only three total female “Elements” puppies and the only one that we still have at the Kennel.  The other two female “Elements” were very small and went to pet homes. Rubi is a feisty female with lots of drive to pull.  Growing up around all boys, she had to hold her own and did a very good job of putting them in their place and letting them know who’s boss. In 2016, she ran the Copper Basin 300 and did an excellent job. We look forward to her shining as the one and only “Elements” female to race again in 2017.
