Braeburn

Braeburn is part of a breed that I did with a full-blooded sprint dog from the Joee Redington Kennel. The breeding of Joee’s dog Peak and my main dog Silver was a bit of an experiment. The hope was to get some solid dogs to breed more quality dogs in the future. When the breeding was complete, I had no idea that the dogs would turn out to be such amazing distance dogs. Braeburn has run in five Yukon Quests and three Iditarods and has proven over and over again that he has what it takes to go the distance. A steady team dog, Braeburn brings tons of experience to the team and you can always count on him to be pulling and giving his all. I am very proud to have Joee Redington’s genetics in my Kennel and it proved that sometimes you have to think a little out-of-the-box to be successful. Braeburn played a key role in this year’s Quest victory and I am sure he will be back again next season to help lead our team to victory.
