We have a big happy family of four and two leggeds here at Wild and Free, and although we wish it was possible – not all dogs can stay with us forever. Some dogs are going to be better off moving to other kennels or homes where they can live lives better suited for their personalities and needs. Last season Wuta was one of these dogs – he had a couple great training seasons with us here, but we realized he wasn’t that into the big kennel/pack and thrived in other settings. We had heard from Wuta’s sponsor for the last couple years that if he ever was looking for a new home she’d love to know, so when we had made the decision to start looking for a new home for Wuta, it was of course on our minds. We reached out to Tamara and she said “Yes!” to giving Wuta a go at a new home with a smaller pack. We are so thrilled to know Wuta has such an amazing life with his new family. Thank you Tamara!

See below for a glimpse into Wuta’s new life!

A letter (and photos) from Tamara;

I couldn’t be happier to have the adorable, lovebug Wuta in my home, he’s such a clown and loves to play with the other dogs when he’s not following me everywhere.  He also learned quickly the best spots to lie (where food is likely to hit the floor).

So enthusiastic to run and is a hard worker in team!

We both enjoy going for easy runs in the cool mornings.
Wuta claims his place on the bed for naps, and loves to cuddle when I join him.

Has a large, free-run dog yard to play with his famous, best friend Ruger from The Last Alaskans show.

Can’t thank you enough for allowing me the privilege of caring for Wuta!  He will be here, and loved, forever..and then some❤
