Brent met Gunhild when she came to Alaska with the Valdres Folk school for the Arctic Expedition in 2014, and he knew he hadn’t seen the last of her. She was a standout in the class and showed lots of interest in coming back as an instructor. She earned the position and came back on the Arctic Expedition in 2015 as an instructor and again was a stand out as she took excellent care of her dogs and continued to do a great job mentoring the students. By the end of the expedition, she expressed interest in coming over to handle this season, so we made it happen! Gunhild will come to Alaska in October of 2015 and Brent is very excited to have her join the Wild and Free team!
